Description
This 90-minute program immerses practitioners in an extended asana practice, beginning with a 20-minute breath-focused seated meditation; proceeding through an opening sequence of slow, gently activating ground-based poses; transitioning to a selection of standing, balancing, and flying pose sequences; returning to restorative and strength-building ground-based poses; and concluding with a five-minute savasana and ten-minute transitional resting phase.
This course is identical to the 110-minute course, save for the subtraction of four somewhat lengthy pose sequences, making this course more moderate in terms of both length and degree of challenge.
The entire course takes place in the riverbed at New Hope Creek in central North Carolina; sounds of forests, winds, and flowing waters interweave with every moment of this yoga session.
