Description
This 110-minute program immerses practitioners in an extended asana practice, beginning with a 20-minute, breath-focused, seated meditation; proceeding through an opening sequence of slow, gently activating ground-based poses; transitioning to standing, balancing, and flying pose sequences; returning to restorative and strength-building ground-based poses; and concluding with a 20-minute savasana and transitional resting phase.
The entire course takes place in the riverbed at New Hope Creek in central North Carolina; sounds of forests, winds, and flowing waters interweave with every moment of this yoga session.
